DOGFISH HEAD
120 Minute IPA
120 Minute IPA is one of those beers that shows up with a reputation before the bottle even gets opened. This thing is an ultra-rare, high-gravity Triple IPA that is 18.5% ABV, which means it is less of a beer and more of a life decision in a glass.
They call it the “Holy Grail for hopheads,” and honestly, that sounds about right. It has that mythical beer energy — the kind of bottle someone pulls out and everyone at the table suddenly starts acting like a sacred ceremony is about to happen. Nobody is shotgunning this beer unless they hate tomorrow.
On the nose, I get roasted malt, sweetness, alcohol, and a little hop character sneaking around in the background like it knows this beer has already taken over the room. The malt and sweetness hit first, then the alcohol comes in with a firm handshake and maybe a small slap across the face. It is strong, flavorful, and boozy in that “I should probably sip this like an adult” kind of way.
This beer does not whisper. It walks into the bar, kicks the door open, orders a round, and tells your Uber driver to stay close. This is definitely a style I enjoy — big, bold, rich, and slightly dangerous. It has enough sweetness and roasted malt to keep it balanced, but make no mistake, this beer has horsepower. It is not your lawn-mowing IPA. This is a sit-down beer. A “let me tell you about my divorce and my first concert” kind of beer.
Overall, Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA is rare, strong, sweet, malty, boozy, and absolutely worth trying if you like beers with character and bad intentions. It is the kind of beer you don’t just drink — you survive it, respect it.

The first thing that caught my eye wasn't the beer—it was the 2026 FIFA World Cup logo on the limited-edition Stella glass. Finally, a glass that understands beer deserves as much pageantry as a penalty shootout. Stella pours with the precision of a perfectly weighted through-ball: crystal clear, golden, and topped with a crisp white head that lasts longer than England's annual "this is our year" predictions. The aroma? Fresh bread, light malt, and just enough noble hops to remind you that Belgium doesn't just produce world-class footballers—it knows a thing or two about beer as well. The taste is wonderfully balanced. It's clean, refreshing, lightly bitter, and dangerously drinkable. Unlike VAR, Stella rarely leaves you questioning its decisions. Every sip is consistent from kickoff to the final whistle. As the World Cup approaches, this beer feels like the perfect warm-up match. It's elegant enough for a rooftop watch party, approachable enough for backyard grilling, and refreshing enough to survive 90 minutes... plus whatever ridiculous amount of stoppage time FIFA decides to add.
The limited-edition FIFA World Cup glass. It somehow makes every sip feel like you're seated in the front row of the Final.
